The first Made-in-China large cruise ship, “Adora · Magic City” officially set sail.

On January 1st, the first Made-in-China large cruise ship under Adora Cruises Limited, the “Adora · Magic City,” officially departed from the Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port, marking the commencement of its commercial operations.

Passengers from both domestic and international origins arrived at the cruise port ahead of the maiden voyage, and under the guidance of service personnel, boarded the ship in an orderly manner. Many guests couldn’t contain their excitement, expressing pride in being able to personally board the first domestically-produced large cruise ship and anticipating the unique blend of Chinese and Western cultures in the “A Spectacular Show on the Ship” specially tailored for Chinese guests. With the melodic tunes playing, the executive team of Adora Cruises welcomed the first batch of passengers in the cruise ship’s atrium, the “Adora Square.”

In the evening, with all guests on board, the “Adora · Magic City” was ready, and it set sail after sounding its horn. Crew members and inaugural passengers waved farewell to the shore, embarking on a 7-day, 6-night cruise to visit destinations such as Jeju in South Korea, Fukuoka, and Nagasaki in Japan.

“At the beginning of the new year, everything takes on a new look. Choosing to launch the commercial maiden voyage of the Adora · Magic City on such a special day is not only a sincere wish for a beautiful life for our guests but also signifies our anticipation and confidence in the future of the Chinese cruise industry,” stated Adora Cruises Limited. “Adora Cruises will continue to meticulously refine every product and service, striving to create a higher-quality travel experience for our guests.”

Prior to the official launch, the Adora · Magic City successfully completed two trial operation voyages, conducting comprehensive tests and adjustments in various aspects such as maritime performance, safe navigation, ship-shore coordination, business models, service processes, and customer experiences.
